last thursday the farmer who farms around where i live on behalf the esstate moved a flock of ewes that are very definately in lamb into the field behind the house. i can’t help myself i’ve adopted the flock and i’m talking about them as if they are my sheep.

yesterday afternoon about 4 o’clock, i spotted the farmer at the top of the field tending to a sheep, and shortly after saw my first lamb. overnight the number of lambs has gone up conisderably, some ewes have singles, some twins. i’m interested and excited about the prospect of seeing these lambs grow over the coming months.  the only lamb photo so far, the small white dots in front of the trees are twin lambs!
